History
Believing in God’s Word and Spirit
Calvary Victory Church (Charity Registration Number: 1135713) was established by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in 1995. At the initial stage, despite revelations and divine instructions that the Lord was about to start a new thing, persistent prayers and fasting, I was a little bit reluctant to start the new ministry. Not considering my hesitation, the Lord in His infinite mercy, reconfirmed His message and reassured me of His blessings through His word in Isaiah 43:19- ‘’Behold, I will do a new thing now it shall spring forth’’. Again, the Lord spoke through His word in 2 Corinthians 5:18- ‘’and all things are of God who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation’.
This proved to be a comforting reminder as community evangelism commenced. As evangelism intensified, many came forth to learn about Christ and willingly gave their lives to Him as Lord and personal saviour. Thereafter, we began meeting once a week to; pray, teach and proclaim the gospel, counsel and encourage one another in the way and word of the Lord. Consequently, in no time, the power of the Lord became manifest and this gathering became a blessing to all who attended. Lives are constantly being changed and everyone near and far testified of the Lord’s faithfulness and presence.

Molding believers, influencing the world
At this stage, the gathering became known as the Ministry of Reconciliation. As commissioned by the Lord, the ministry became known by many for its caring attitude to all peoples regardless of whatever background they came from. Subsequently, the ministry metamorphosed into Calvary Victory Church.
Calvary Victory Church presently has branches in Nigeria and in the United Kingdom. The church is well known as a place of praise, worship and prayer-a place where God confirms His word with signs and wonders.
Our Belief
We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testament are supernatural relations from Almighty God (2 Timothy 3:16,17; 2Peter 1:21).
We believe in the Supreme Being of God and that there are three Divine Persons in Trinity: the Father, the Son and the Holy Sprit who coexisted, coeternal, and equal in divine perfection (Deut. 6:4; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:13-17; 17:5; 28:19).
We believe in Deity of Jesus Christ. The miraculous conception and birth of Christ, the crucifixion, death, burial and His resurrection (Isaiah 9:6, Matthew 1:18-25; Roman 1:4; 1Corinthians 15:3, 4).
The fall and deprivation of mankind and need for redemption through the Blood of Jesus Christ (Genesis 3: 6, 7).
That mankind could only be saved through repentance of sins and redeeming work of Jesus Christ. We believe that salvation is possible through grace not through human righteousness or merit (Genesis 3: 15; Ephesians 2:8).
We believe in water baptism by name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19). The Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4; 10:44; 19:1-6)
The observance of the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of the death of Christ for our sins, our death to sin in Christ; the union between ourselves and Christ through His death (1Corinthians 11: 26; Romans 6: 1 -13)
Bringing others to Christ through personal and collective evangelism. Jesus requires every believer to witness about Him to others. Jesus Christ wants believers to be fruitful in soul winning (Matthew 28: 19; Proverbs 11: 30; Acts 1:8; 8:1-4).
Divine healing through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28: 19 – 20; Mark 10: 1; 16: 15 – 18).
That tithes and offerings are ordained of God to sustain His ministry, spread the Gospel, and release personal blessing (Malachi 3:10; 1 Corinthians 16: 1, 2).
The Second coming of Christ will be just as literal and visible as He ascended into heaven; the Millennial reign of Christ; Divine Judgement; and the New Heaven and Earth (Matthew 25: 31 – 26; Mark 13: 24 -37; 2 Thessalonians 1: 7 – 10; Jude 14, 15).
