Luke 5:1-7 (4) – When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” (NKJV)
In today’s Bible reading, Peter toiled all night and couldn’t catch a single fish. He gave up and began washing his nets when Jesus showed up and said, “Launch out into the deep.” Peter obeyed and dropped only a net instead of nets, but he still experienced a net-breaking miracle. Let me first decree that an end has come to every fruitless effort in your life, in Jesus’ name. However, it is essential to understand how “Launching out into the deep” applies to our peculiar situations.
To “launch out” means to begin a search for a solution or start a project, business, or revival. The deep refers to the challenges you are experiencing and those places where it seems impossible to excel. Whatever represents the deep in your life, God is saying, launch into those areas. If you are labouring day and night but struggling to make ends meet, there is a supernatural release of ease upon you right now. Perhaps you have depended on your abilities before today. As you allow the Holy Spirit to lead you this time to go all out and achieve your goals, there shall be testimonies in Jesus’ name.
Beloved, when launching out, activate your faith to let down your nets and not a net because when God has spoken, the rest is history. Go with this prophetic utterance, launch out, and you will prevail.
Hymn: Trust and Obey – John H. Sammis (1887)
1. Father, as I launch out (mention), please:
a. Direct my steps and favour my actions.
b. Raise help for me and turn my little into abundance.
2. Father, please give me the grace to dress very well everywhere I go.
3. Can God lie? If no! Begin to ask for specific deep (hard) things you desire before the weekend.
4. Any power reporting me to damage me or my reputation, receive divine judgement.
5. Father, please arise for the Church and instil Your fear in our gathering.
GOD BLESS YOU!
