Joshua 10:1-15 (11): As they fled before Israel on the road down from Beth Horon to Azekah, the Lord hurled large hailstones down on them, and more of them died from the hail than were killed by the swords of the Israelites. (NIV)

The children of Israel needed more time to avenge their enemies, and a full day was approved when Joshua prayed that the sun and moon to pause. And it was recorded that there has never been another moment that God granted such prayer. This month of March! The time you need to recover from past and current attacks, the Lord shall give unto you, in Jesus’ name. Israel prevailed over the Amorites; therefore, every onslaught against your victory and family is crushed by the power in the name of Jesus.

Another point to note is that ‘where there’s a will there is a way’ because God had already told Joshua: “Do not be afraid of them; I have given them into your hand. Not one of them will be able to withstand you.” (vs 8–NIV). Hence, Joshua and his army took the enemies by surprise so that their camp got filled with confusion. Eh! In this leap year, your adversaries shall marvel at how God will help you. And they shall be trapped under thy feet, in Jesus’ name.

Beloved, while the army pursued the Amorites, heaven also rained hailstones as affirmed in our text, and more got killed than by the sword. It was a two-way attack on Israel’s opponent, both ground and divine. I pray! More than ever before, when you pray, heaven shall back you and ensure your triumph. Besides, any power that says you’ll not enjoy the good things of life, the angels and nature shall begin to work against them, in Jesus’ name.
