Numbers 13:1-33 (30) – Caleb interrupted, called for silence before Moses and said, “Let’s go up and take the land—now. We can do it.” (MSG)

The journey might be full of uncertainty, and you don’t know what to expect daily. However, we need to be encouraged because we are not alone (Isaiah 43:2). God is with us in all of these!

Many times we view what is going on around us as challenges, which blindfolds us from seeing the bigger picture that God has for us and where He is taking us. Therefore, whenever we are faced with such a situation, we should ask God for the revelation He wants us to see through those circumstances, and work with it (Ephesians 1:17-18).

Beloved, we need to walk by faith, and not by sight, like Caleb and Joshua in our text. They saw the positives when others were already self-defeated. Moreover, to do this, we need to be of good courage (Psalm 27:14) and encourage ourselves in the Lord as David did (1 Samuel 30:6). Focus on the glory ahead, which cannot be compared to the present suffering (Romans 8:18-19), and we shall be victorious, in Jesus’ name.

Hymn: He will Answer every Prayer — Mary Bernstecher (1914)

1. Father, in my current situation, help me to put my trust in You.

2. Decree: Irrespective of what I am going through, I choose joy. I see greater glory and new heights! (Prophesy)
